To Whom It May Concern:

Howard Hunt was my realtor recently in Columbia, and he helped find the perfect home for my wife and me. As a first time homeowner, I had a lot of questions and concerns going into the home-buying process, and Howard put my mind at ease by carefully explaining how to get the most out of my investment. Having moved to Columbia from out of state, Howard also helped put my mind at ease when it came to looking for the right neighborhoods.

Due to work obligations, I could only do my house-hunting on Saturdays. Howard did his homework by emailing me homes for sale that met my size and budget specifications. He spent many hours taking me to different parts of town and did not attempt to push a house on me after we had spent several Saturday’s looking at many homes. His concern was that I find the house I knew I wanted.

Howard’s knowledge of construction and contract work were also key in my house hunting as I wanted a house that was move-in ready, and he was able to tell me what, if any, work would need to be done on any home we visited.

I whole-heartedly recommend Howard Hunt to anyone buying or selling a home. His experience as a realtor and contractor give him a keen insight in the housing market, and his friendly and patient demeanor takes away a lot of the apprehension a new homeowner might experience.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Howard Hunt, who was recently my real estate agent in Columbia. Howard goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to serving his clients. Howard was not only able to help sell my home in a tough housing market, but he also helped me find my dream house that was right in line with my budget.

Howard isn’t the type of realtor who simply puts a “for sale” sign in the yard and waits for buyers to stop in. He not only made recommendations on how to inexpensively make my house more attractive to potential buyers, but he also personally assisted in the installment of a hand-rail on an exterior staircase, and he built a walkway leading to the front door to create more curb appeal. He also made several other recommendations and followed through with the implementation to bring out the best in the house.

Basically, he took pride in presenting the house as if it were his own. He also held a couple of open houses and was able to sell my house which I had lived in for only two years and help me turn a 15% profit!

In terms of looking for a new house, Howard worked hard to present many viable options in different parts of town, and was very patient in listening to what I really wanted in a new home.

I highly recommend Howard Hunt to anyone looking to buy and/or sell a home. He’s professional and committed to seeing his clients get what they want.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the professional job you did with the property you found for me on Crape Myrtle. You met or exceeded every need I had from locating the house and lots all the way through closing. Your suggestion on sub dividing the property also proved to be very profitable. Thank you again for a wonderful real Estate experience. Should you ever need a reference please don't hesitate sending them to me.

"After talking to a number of real estate agents concerning the need of housing for our daughter who is attending USC Law School, my wife and I met Howard Hunt. It was obvious he knew the market very well and was well versed in the construction side of real estate which was important to me as I am a general contractor. We have never called another agent in the Columbia area since meeting Howard, as he helped us to find the perfect house in the Melrose area. Howard is a man who speaks the truth and helps you to see the potential in homes. He is always willing to help find what ever you may need. I strongly recommend Howard to represent anyone looking for real estate and in a year and a half when our daughter gets out of law school, we will use Howard to sell our home in Melrose Heights."

“Some people say they "wear a lot of hats" when describing their professional or social lives. Howard Hunt is a walking haberdashery. Howard graduated from Carolina in 1987 with a B.A. in Art Studio (Humanities and Social Sciences), and wears the titles of an award-winning artist, photographer, a licensed realtor, contractor, rugby coach, entrepreneur, and most recently, a father.”
